Description
集落の東側、斎場御嶽へ続く農道沿いにある。アカギはタカトウダイ科に属する樹木で、河岸や石灰岩の崖下などの湿った場所を好む。久手堅の大アカギは、首里城を改修する時に切り倒され、献木されたもの。その後、切り株から芽を出した3本の樹幹が現在の形をつくっている。1999年に文化財(天然記念物)に指定された。
