平成26年度古写真イベントにて収集。現在、馬天自動車学校がある場所には、かつてスクラップの集積場があった。1955年頃はスクラップブームで、中城湾の水底から引き揚げられた艦船などの鉄くずが、業者によって香港などに輸出された。
