四国遍路は１４００キロの道程を歩く巡礼の旅です。年間多くのお遍路さんが四国を訪れます。四国にはこうしたお遍路さんをもてなす「お接待」という風習が残っています。お遍路さんをもてなすことで、自らの幸福を願う人々の気持が込められているのです。四国遍路を育んだ風土を紹介します。
