Description

世界遺産・興福寺に安置されている国宝・阿修羅像。若々しい肉体に、３つの顔と６本の腕を持つ像で、奈良時代に作られました。３つの顔はそれぞれ微妙に異なる表情をしており、戦いの神である阿修羅が、仏教に帰依して、悟りを開いていく様子を表していると言われています。
