竹ン芸竹ン芸

Description

長崎県長崎市の若宮稲荷神社で、毎年１０月１４日、１５日に行われる秋の大祭「竹ン芸」。高さ１０メートルの２本の竹の上で狐の面を被った白装束姿の二人が、お囃子に合わせて、妙技を演じます。およそ２００年前から伝わる伝統芸能で、国の選択無形民俗文化財に指定されています。
