三重県亀山市、鈴鹿峠のすそ野に広がる関宿。古くから都と東国を結ぶ交通の要衝として栄えました。町の中心を走る旧東海道には、東西１．８キロに渡って古い家並が続いており、国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定されています。かつての宿場町の面影が今も残る町並みです。
