阿南市は、徳島県の東、豊かな自然に恵まれたところです。四国最東端の景勝地・蒲生田岬には８０年の歴史を持つ蒲生田岬灯台があります。晴れた日には灯台から北に淡路島、さらには和歌山県を望むことができます。竹の産地でもあり、竹を使った工芸品作りが盛んです。
