ＪＲ徳島線：徳島県三好市の佃駅から徳島県徳島市の佐古駅を結ぶＪＲ四国の鉄道路線です。吉野川に沿って徳島県の東西を結びます。

ＪＲ牟岐線：徳島県の徳島駅から徳島県海部郡海陽町の海部駅を結ぶＪＲ四国の鉄道路線です。徳島線と牟岐線は、土讃線、小松島線の小松島港を結んで、関西と徳島を結ぶ役割も担っていました。
