Description
This collection of tanka poems by Isamu Yoshii (1886–1960) explores love between men and women and a sense of sadness. In the Taisho era, which lasted from 1912 to 1926, Yoshii published many books in partnership with Yumeji Takehisa. A clown and a woman with an air of melancholy are depicted on the slipcase, cover and frontispiece.
