Description
尾形光琳は、宝永元年（1704）京都から江戸へ向かった。最初に寄宿したのが深川の材木商・冬木家であった。当時、裕福な商家の女性たちの間で有名画家に描かせた描絵（かきえ）の小袖が流行。本小袖は、世話になった冬木家の奥方のために制作されたと伝えられる。
