伊万里焼だが、裏に「太明成化年製」の銘がある。正面向きの龍は中国で明時代後期から清時代に流行したが、団子鼻でおどけた顔と軟体動物のような身体が面白い。「西如」「東海」「寿北」「南山」は長寿を祝福する吉祥句「福如東海、寿比南山」を間違えたもの。(20120102_h021h022天翔ける龍）
