本面の傷を忠実に写しており、額の左右2カ所の打痕は本面と判別しにくいほどです。顎左方のＸ字状の傷は本面が打傷の上から何かを塗っているのに対し、この面では傷はなく色を塗っているだけのようです。黒漆の厚塗りの面裏もしっかりと写しています。
