Description
Beautiful sweet flag flowers bloom in Horikiri, a part of what is now Katsushika City in present-day Tokyo. A few blossoms are enlarged in the foreground, while some people look at the flowers in the distant background. Such a contrast between sizes to create a sense of perspective is characteristic of this famous print series by Hiroshige.
