Description
曲亭馬琴作の読本『椿説弓張月（ちんせつゆみはりづき）』源為朝（みなもとのためとも）難船の場面。平清盛（たいらのきよ）を討とうと都に向かう為朝の船が嵐に遭い、妻白縫（しらぬい）は嵐を鎮めようと海中に身を投じる。嫡男舜天丸（すてまる）の船は沈むが、家来に抱えられて鰐鮫（わにざめ）に助けられる。讃岐院配下の天狗が自害しようとする為朝を救出している。
