2人の人物のうち、1人は採集した草を持っている。図上の賛は商山四皓に触れており、中国・秦代末期の戦乱を避けて商山に隠棲した4人の老人のうちの2人とみたようである。賛者の一庵一如は応永9年(1402)に明から派遣されて来朝した天台僧で翌年帰国した。
