原品は京都・六波羅蜜寺が所蔵する重要文化財・平清盛像で、著名な彫刻である。平家一門32人が結縁して奉納したことが記されている「平家納経」の願文は、平清盛の自筆とされる。ほかに法師功徳品、阿弥陀経の巻末に清盛自筆の署名がされている。(ほっしくどくほん)
