Description
Elizabeth Keith (1887–1956) was born in Scotland. The publisher Watanabe Shōzaburō invited her to work on [shin-hanga] woodblock prints after seeing her exhibition of watercolor paintings of Korea in 1919. Her works depict everyday life in Asia, using deep and clear blues, as seen in this nightscape.
