Description
These sliding door paintings with winter landscape are not found in any of Yōtoku-in’s temple records. It is thought that the sliding doors were painted in the early nineteenth century intended to form the continuation of the winter landscape painting by Sōkei (dates unknown), which was originally installed in the temple.
