Description
黙阿弥の洋装写真とともに2つの書簡が貼り交ぜとなり、軸装されたもの。上部の書簡は明治11年（1878）12月19日付、黙阿弥から大阪で活躍していた高弟の勝諺蔵へ宛てたもの。先年より願い出された諺蔵の子息・浜彦助に名譲りを認め、諺蔵には能進の名を譲る内容。下部の書簡は明治17年（1884）4月付、黙阿弥から勝能進へ宛てたもので、河竹新七の名を金作に譲ることとしたことで、高弟の能進にも河竹姓を許す旨が記される。
