Description
銀製、二本足の簪。胴部に牡丹の毛彫がある。頭部は『源氏物語』夕顔巻の留守模様で、金銅製の檜扇、その上には銀や金銅・珊瑚で夕顔を付けて飾りとしている。簪は笄から分化して発生し、二本足の簪は享保以降に出現した。延享元年（1744）に金銀製の櫛・笄が禁止されてからは象牙・鼈甲・錫が用いられたが、寛政頃から金銀製の簪が再流行した。花柳章太郎（1894～1965）の旧蔵品で平成15年（2003）に遺族の青山久仁子氏より国立劇場へ寄贈された。
