Description
昭和4年（1929）春、河竹繁俊が福地信世より「預か」ったもの。信世は福地桜痴の長男であり、地質学者として東京帝大の教壇に立つ傍ら、舞踊作家としても活躍した。桜痴の筆で「桂櫂兮蘭枻 斲冰兮積雪 采薜茘兮水中 搴芙蓉兮木末 心不同兮媒勞 恩不甚兮輕絶 石瀬兮淺々 飛龍兮翩々 桜痴居士源」とある。「源」は桜痴の本名・源一郎にちなむか。内容は儒教の経典とも、祭神歌舞の詩とも解釈されてきた『楚辞』「九歌」の一部である。
