大正14年（1925）に開場して以来昭和14年（1939）までの15年間、新橋演舞場で毎年公演を行ったことを記念して、双雅房から出版された。各年の新橋演舞場公演での演目のリストと、新聞各紙に掲載された劇評の抜粋、その時々に自分の身に起きた出来事を語る五郎の随筆からなる。
