Description
二本足、頭付の鼈甲製簪で、短い前小僧・前差しとして使用される。頭を菊花の容彫として大きい丸耳の耳掻きが付く。簪は笄から分化して発生し、二本足の簪は享保以降に出現した。『玳瑁亀圖説』によると石持頭付は江戸で寛政頃から流行し、頭に彫刻を施すことは文化頃から流行したらしい。花柳章太郎（1894～1965）の旧蔵品で平成15年（2003）に遺族の青山久仁子氏より国立劇場へ寄贈された。
