Description
明治22年（1889）「十一月八日」の日付がある「吉村新七」こと黙阿弥自筆の手紙。宛名の「磐井様」は、版権関係で世話になる「坂地」（大阪）の人だったらしい。「有馬は如燕氏の講談を聞き、脚色のものなり」と『有松染相撲浴衣』（明治13年（1880）5月、猿若座初演）の由来を述べており、「何にいたせ類似の狂言」と当該作品に関してなんらかの問題が生じた件で交わした書簡か。
