Description
「明治九年十月廿九」との書き入れがある。黙阿弥自筆による「岩井半四郎」「座元 中村仲蔵」の口上文。内容から、中村座において明治9年（1876）10月29日に初日の幕を開けた『忠孝意路発単語』上演時の口上らしい。『続々歌舞伎年代記』には「我童の師直由良之助共に評能く可成りの景気」とある。三代目片岡我童は八代目片岡仁左衛門の三男。黙阿弥は自作における役者の口上も考案した。
