Description
竹の節形に梅が付いた鼈甲製の中差である。『守貞漫稿』によれば、「此竹節の如きは笄に近く簪とは云ず 是等形笄なれども江戸今俗は専ら中差と云也」とされる。また『玳瑁亀圖説』によると「耳掻竹中差」は天保年間に江戸で流行したとされる。花柳章太郎（1894～1965）の旧蔵品で平成15年（2003）に遺族の青山久仁子氏より国立劇場へ寄贈された。
