Description
明治26年（1893）1月付の遺言状。黙阿弥は毎年正月に遺言状をあらためたというが、これは亡くなる三週間前の筆。妻の「伊藤こと」と長男「吉村勘兵衛」、長女「吉村いと」に宛てたもの。「本葬を出し候得ば多分之費用も掛り世間之人に一日之日を為費無益之事故本葬は出し申間敷」と、費用がかかり参列者を煩わす葬儀について案じ、「其替り」に源通寺への永代供養料などを指示している。
