Description
団扇で蛍を捕えようとする女性。着物の模様は『源氏物語』第25帖を表す蛍の形の源氏香である。なお、本誌が刊行された明治30年（1897）の『文芸倶楽部』の口絵に、本文の内容に関連するものはなく、この絵も独立した美人画とされる。
