Description
河竹繁俊が赤鉛筆で富士山や鼠、宝珠などを描いたスケッチ画と、その妻で河竹登志夫の母・みつ（田中みつ）の女学生時代に椿や林檎などを描いたものや、晩年に草花を描いたもの。繁俊の絵は簡単な線のみだが形状を的確にとらえており、府立第一高女で荻生天泉に教わったみつの絵は緻密で写実的。血脈としては繋がらないものの、黙阿弥の作品を守るとともに、河竹家の画才をも自然と引き継いだかのようである。
