江漢による一連の銅板眼鏡絵のために作られたと考えられます。絵を水平に置き、支柱の上端につけた鏡とレンズで覗き見る仕組みです。分解して、台になる箱の中に部品を収納して持ち運ぶこともできます。箱の蓋裏には、眼鏡絵の鑑賞の仕方などを説明した引札が貼り付けてありあます。 【江戸の絵画】
