Description
司馬江漢が天明年間(1781-1789)に制作した風景銅版画のひとつ。現在の喧騒ぶりからは想像がつきませんが、描かれているのは今の東京の広尾あたりで、広々とした武蔵野の田園に茶屋が一軒という、のどかな風景です。江漢は蘭学者の桂川甫周らをともなって広尾台の「老爺茶屋」で酒宴を開いたことがあり、画中の茶屋がそれに当たると思われます。この版画は反射式眼鏡絵として制作されたので左右反対の構図となっています。 【江戸の絵画】
