繁華街すすきのの一画に建つ、もと材木商の居宅。南正面に入母屋造の玄関を構え、西に内装洋風の応接室を配し、さらに六間取系の座敷部や離れ座敷を雁行させる。北面に日常居室部を連ね、煉瓦造の北壁は外塀を兼ねる。洗練された意匠を持つ上質な近代和風建築。
