豊川稲荷、鳳来寺山などを背景に、豊橋の市街地を詳細に描く。吉田城内の陸軍歩兵第18連隊を始め、市内や近郊の各地に軍関係の施設が描かれ、“軍都”豊橋の姿を伝えている。
