Description
歌川芳員の作。最大の激戦とされる永禄４年の戦いを描く。馬上で刀を振り上げる謙信、軍配を手に待ち受ける信玄という川中島の戦いの情景をあらわす基本的な構図である。芳員は歌川国芳の門人で、幕末から明治時代初頭にかけて活躍した。
