明治20年3月中村座「四天王大江山入」に取材した作品。

理屈を並べる、気が長くなる、友達を困らせる・・・。酒に酔った人の姿は今も昔も変わらないもの。西洋画法を取り入れた独自の表現で浮世絵版画界に新風を吹き込み、最後の浮世絵師ともいわれた小林清親の風刺画『酒癖』（酒機嫌十二相）のうち、西宮市立図書館が所蔵する12点を紹介します。
