Protura are arthropods closely related to Insecta, and 96 species are known from Japan. They inhabit soil and leaf-litter layers. At only about 1 mm in length, are rarely seen by the naked eye. In this database, we present detailed information on 30 specimens selected from the more than 40,000 specimens preserved in our museum’s holdings. Please note that all specimens are slide-mounted, so their original coloration is not retained.","ja":"本コレクションは、元当館館長で学芸員の中村修美博士が中心となって収集したカマアシムシ類のコレクションです。
