It consists of a digitized list of the Museum’s collection of adult film press sheets, and digitized images of the press sheets for the Nikkatsu Roman Porno series (including some non-Roman pornographic films produced during the same period), which make up the majority of the collection.\nPress sheets are advertising materials that are printed on both sides of a sheet of paper, with the title of the film and the names of the main cast and crew in color on the front, and a commentary about the film, plot summary, still photos, and taglines in monochrome on the back. \nThe collection consists of adult film press sheets dating from the latter half of the 1960s to the early 1990s, including 762 Nikkatsu titles, 61 Toei titles, 35 OP Chain titles, and 120 Shin-Nihon Eizo (Xces Film) titles. These represent approximately 70% of the press sheets created for a total of 1,116 Roman Porno films that were released.
